The lounge is there for your enjoyment – help yourself to sweets/candy and feel free to listen to a broad selection of music. We have a selection of books about New Zealand to read here (including some great NZ cartoons), and a small library of books to browse through.

The wide-screen TV is equipped with a DVD player. The selection of DVDs includes a range of NZ films and romance.

Tea and coffee making facilities are in the lounge. Feel free to take a tray back to your room if you wish to relax with your feet up before dinner or early in the morning. The tea selection includes a large range of herbal teas.

The lounge has an honesty fridge system for those wanting a beer or soft drink. We also sell wine by the glass, from John’s lovingly stocked cellar.

For the comfort and health of all our guests, we request no smoking inside.
